The World of Art and Culture(WOAC) will start from local pairings "From Hong Kong", then gradually go into "To The World" zone.
Leveraging on the theme of this year “Food Culture • Future Living", WOAC will feature thematic exhibitions that transform the space into a vibrant culinary venue showcasing diverse cultures. We are excited to invite eight artists to collaboratively explore the deeper meanings of food culture, illustrating the dining table as an essential space for social connection and cultural heritage. Together, we will reflect on how food carries the memory of civilizations and shapes our aesthetic experiences, guiding readers to savor life and explore the world through the dining table.
Source of Inspiration: A Cultural Feast
Each of the eight artists will present five carefully selected and diverse exhibits, including tangible objects, dynamic videos, musical compositions, and relevant literature. From their unique professional perspectives, they will interpret their understanding of food culture, with each piece offering a distinct cultural insight. Additionally, various consulates in Hong Kong will provide related collections, creating a cultural feast that transcends geography and blends the ancient with the modern.
Interactive Experience: Dining Personality Assessment
Join us on an interactive journey to explore personal dining habits through a questionnaire that identifies eight distinct dining personalities. Each personality represents different life attitudes and values, reflecting the close relationship between food and lifestyle. Upon completing the questionnaire, visitors will receive personalized book recommendations based on their dining personality, enriching their reading and reflective experience.
AI Visual Experience: Visualizing Dining Personalities
Utilizing AI technology, we will generate visual representations of eight different dining scenarios, transforming abstract dining personalities into concrete visual experiences. These images will not only showcase individual food preferences but also highlight the unique charm of various dining environments.
