Typhoon No. 8 Closes Hong Kong Book Fair
Fair Will Reopen Tomorrow if No. 8 Signal is Lowered by 1:30pm
23 July 2012 – The Hong Kong Observatory has announced that Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 will be hoisted at 6pm today. The Hong Kong Book Fair will be closed from 5:45pm today. Exhibitors and visitors are requested to leave the exhibition within two hours.Ticket booths are closed and visitors will not be admitted. All Book Fair seminars will be cancelled.

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is lowered by 1:30pm tomorrow (Tuesday), the fair will reopen two hours after the signal has been lowered.

Guests holding valid, unused tickets (except complimentary tickets) can request a refund after the close of the Hong Kong Book Fair. Unused admission tickets can also be used on the remaining fair day.
